Hello,

I am a community pharmacist and a Practice Advisor with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.  Looking forward to further learning from the group and sharing tips with colleague pharmacists I interact with during my travels.

Hello, glad you joined, actually critical for many people to bridge with pharmacy and address some of the many issues in community based care, moving from our institutional silo's to use a well, very well worn phrase.

Sorry to ask you a pithy question, not trying to scare you off with work, but has your college developed any: working papers or tried pilots to address issues like:

  • clozapine medication collaboration with community based pharmacies
  • and working with outpatient programs on medication reconciliation?

I'm curious how the bridging and collaboration, partnerships are going with community based pharmacies as highly complex to address accountability, mistakes, safety.

thanks, Bill

Hi everyone. I am parent who has lived experience with family members living with depression. I also have children who deal with anxiety and suicidal thoughts, and have accessed mental health services through the hospitals and the community.  I am a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Social Work Program(BSW) at Ryerson University. I am currently volunteering at Peel Children's Center on 2 Family Engagement Committees. I am trying along with other caregivers and service providers to create a framework that will hopefully improve service delivery and accessibility and honor the voice and knowledge families and youth hold when it comes to their experience of mental health.

Hey Folks!  Glad to be aboard.   I manage a mental health clinic in Ottawa that focuses on men's mental health.  We offer individual therapy along with group therapy programming like childhood trauma recovery (both short term and long term) , Anger Management, and Emotional Integrity.    We also address issues of recent sexual assault.    We have formal relationships with five charities in the Ottawa area to provide collaborative services on site for low income men.   Happy to discuss both training interests  and potential partnerships with other organizations attached to EEConnect.   rick@menandhealing.ca   www.menandhealing.ca
