The Centre for Innovation in Peer Support is offering yet another on-line Peer Support Supervision Training, with International Peer Support Guru, Robyn Priest.  All of our trainings have sold out and we have already trained 118 Peer Supervisors across Ontario. Please share with anyone in your organization who supervisors or directly supports a peer staff role.  This training is also helpful for agency leaders who want to prepare their agency for peer supporters and/or those who already have peer support workers but want to strengthen their knowledge regarding this.

Learn:

  • History of peer support
  • Definition of peer support
  • Peer support values
  • How to prepare your agency to implement peer work
  • How to properly recruit and hire peer workers
  • How to best support peer work authenticity in your agency/organization
  • What peer support workers are trained on
  • What the responsibilities of a supervisor are
  • How to be a change agent
  • Applying the knowledge through scenarios
  • Current resources available
