ACCESS THE LATEST RESOURCES

Recovery in mental health is about people living satisfying, hopeful lives and contributing to society, even if they’re experiencing ongoing symptoms of a mental health problem or illness and/or substance use.

Each person should be empowered to decide what recovery means for them — and what they need in order to achieve it.

The new set of resources builds on the Guidelines for Recovery-Oriented Practice (2015) and is part of a multi-year project to provide health-care organizations with practical tools and supports that can help them effectively implement its key dimensions.

What’s included:

The MHCC wishes to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to the development of these recovery resources. These resources were developed with the expertise of people with lived and living experience of mental health problems and illnesses, individuals who participated in the consultations, employees at Ontario Shores who supported the development of the Implementation Toolkit, our Steering Committee, Working Group and various experts and advisors along with all the individuals from the eight selected case studies who shared their perspectives, experiences, expertise, and knowledge.
