The Centre for Innovation in Peer Support (embedded in Support House) broke new ground in 2021 with the introduction of several new programs and opportunities for both our community and provincial partners.

We launched our new Virtual Learning Centre & Resource Hub regularly updated with educational toolkits, documents and videos. These offerings support the practice and implementation of peer support within Ontario. We piloted a NEW comprehensive Peer Support Core Competencies Training .Our PSCC Training runs quarterly, is offered completely virtually, free of charge.

With the challenges of COVID 19, and a shifting landscape in Ontario’s health care sector, the Centre rose to the occasion once again in 2021 with grit, determination and commitment to ensuring the evolution of Peer Support and Peer Support programing across the province.

For more information on the impacts the Centre and our staff has in 2021, we invite you connect with Our Year in Review (attached PDF) or  https://supporthouse.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/2021-The-Centres-Year-in-Review.pdf

We continue to support agencies across the Province of Ontario through our Communities of Practice, running 60 meetings in 2021.  We look forward to working alongside you in 2022 and wish you all a safe and happy new year as we collectively navigate this ongoing pandemic.
