Check out the call for proposals for C2U Expo 2023 (Community College & University Expo) which will be held in Thunder Bay, ON June 5-8, 2022.
There are many different ways to present in the expo: oral, panel, poster & pecha kucha presentations, workshops, storytelling, creative works, and films and videos. Abstracts are due January 23, 2023.
The conference takes folks away from the ivory tower or a hotel room and into community to showcase activism, art, partnerships, and knowledge mobilization in an experiential way. There are also opportunities to share lessons learned, challenges, and strategies.
C2U Expo is an international conference that occurs approximately every other year hosted by Community-Based Research Canada (CBRC). CBRC is a national champion and facilitator of community-based research excellence, and has dozens of institutional members including colleges, universities, community organizations in health care and social services, and Indigenous communities and organizations.
