CBT-p Training for Professionals (Virtual)

Are you a frontline professional supporting individuals who experience psychosis?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBT-p) and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) are evidenced-based approaches that have been shown to be effective in managing the experience of psychosis, reducing relapses and improving daily functioning and quality of life.

CBT-p Training for Professionals Overview

This three-part training will provide you with the theory behind CBT-p and CT-R as well as practical skills and strategies that you can apply to your work with clients. By discussing key considerations and practical applications for the beginning, middle and end of treatment, this training will give you an overview of how to apply these modalities to support clients in their recovery and achieving better outcomes.

You will learn:

  • The theory of CBT-p and CT-R
  • How to develop a case conceptualization
  • Treatment planning
  • Interventions for addressing psychosis
  • How to increase motivation for treatment
  • Discharge planning
  • Relapse prevention  

    Dates: Offered in three sessions:

  1. Thursday February 3
  2. Thursday February 10
  3. Thursday February 17

Time: 1:00-3:00pm EST

Price:

$350 per person - Early Bird registration (until January 7 at 5:00pm)

$390 per person - Regular registration
