Ask the Experts: Sleep and Psychosis
Join the CAMH sleep experts for an educational session on sleep and psychosis.
Our presenters:
Dr. Michael Mak (he/him) is a sleep medicine specialist and staff psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He also provides cultural mental health care for the Hong Fook Mental Health Association. He received his MD from Queen’s University in Kingston, and subsequently completed his Psychiatry residency and fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Western University in London.
Jesse Remington (he/him) is a fourth-year resident with the University of Toronto, working predominantly at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He completed his medical training at the University College Cork in Ireland before returning to Canada for his psychiatry residency in 2019. He is particularly interested in both sleep medicine and psychosis and how these two critical areas are interconnected with the goal of better understanding them. He is eager to provide further education to the public and healthcare providers through teaching opportunities in both clinical and community settings.
