About the event:

Getting started with Research Engagement at CAMH

Patient and Family Engagement in Research supports engaging patients and family members as active research partners and valued members of the research team. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of research engagement, why it is important, what research engagement looks like at CAMH and how patients and family members can get involved.

In this role, Mel is responsible for supporting people with lived experience to become partners in research, and to champion research engagement across CAMH. In her current role, Mel incorporates both her professional knowledge and personal lived-experience into her work.
