Gender Diversity, Part 1: Working with Transgender and Gender Diverse Children and Youth

  • Develop a meaningful understanding of gender dysphoria.
  • Review the role of the physician working with children and adolescents with gender dysphoria.

Presenter Biography

Dr. Natalie Finner, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Finner joined the Division of Adolescent Health at CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) on September 1st, 2020. Dr. Finner completed her pediatrics residency at CHEO then went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Her clinical interests include gender diversity and eating disorders in youth.

Biographie du présentateur

Dre Natalie Finner, MD, FRCPC: La Dre Finner est entrée au service de la Division de la santé adolescents de CHEO (Centre hospitalier pour enfants de l’est de l’Ontario) le 1er septembre 2020. La Dre Finner a terminé sa résidence en pédiatrie au CHEO et a ensuite terminé une bourse de deux ans en médecine des adolescents à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique. Ses intérêts cliniques comprennent la diversité des genres et les troubles alimentaires chez les jeunes.
