Frayme is thrilled to launch the Learning Through Living (LTL): Applied Research Grant Program to embed lived expertise from youth and/or caregivers in youth mental health and substance use (YMHSU) research.

The LTL Grant Program will mobilize diverse lived expertise as a form of evidence to inform active research. Frayme will support currently funded YMHSU research through LTL by awarding 4 grants of $50,000 so researchers can engage youth and caregivers with lived expertise in research practice through partnership.

Research that builds on the experiences of those accessing services is an important contribution to building systems of support that work for youth and their families. Through these grants Frayme is supporting researchers to engage with individuals with lived expertise and scale the learnings to inform future research about the benefits and processes of integrating lived expertise into research.

Deadline to apply: July 16, 2021
