My name is Jason Guriel, and I'm a Communications Associate for Evidence Exchange Network (EENet). I'll be one of the community managers assisting with this new project. I hope that EENet Connect is used by members to support one another, provide a space for good conversation, and allow for collaboration between stakeholders in the mental health and addictions system.

If you are looking for some assistance in navigating the site, please visit our About section for links to 'Community Guidelines,' 'FAQ,' and a simple 'How-to Guide.' You can also find out more about the community and the initiatives involved (so far!).

Please feel free to contact me if you need any help on the forums at all, or if you have any concerns. I look forward to interacting with you while we share this fantastic community space.

I coordinate the intake of bothmen at Rockhaven and our non funded level 2 facility next door called "Beyond the Rock" and keep a caseload of half a dozen of the guys. I sit on the volunteer selection committee for all housing requests to our local Canadian Mental Health Association including trasitional, permanent and supplemnets. Hi,

As an educator with the Durham District School Board, I work in a Section 23 program in the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. I work with clients (18 -21 years old - both inpatients and outpatients) who are learning about their illness by participating in groups offered through the CONTACT centre at Ontario Shores. My role is help students earn high school credits while they are learning to manage their mental illness. We offer a blended credit that allows students to earn high school credit for the work they are doing in their CONTACT groups.

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Professor and Chair of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Western Ontario-"Western".Clinically I work at both the Adolescent Unit at Regional Mental Health Care with an outreach team of nurses and a part time social worker in a very neat model of care that our youth enjoy because they have very little need for "office"visits.

I also have a presence in acute care at London Health Sciences Centre.Program development is one of my roles and I am specially interest in transitions at all developmental points along the early life trajectory:from infancy to early adulthood.Stage rather than age should dictate these transitions.

Another passion of mine is the illness journey and the voice of the person and their family with this experience.I am on the Provincial Management Committee for the AMS Phoenix Project whose goal is to re calibrate person centred compassionate care in health care delivery. This allows me o "marry"my interest in promoting the patient/family voice in the transformation of health care(physical and mental.....which don't separate very well anyway!
