Healthy aging public health framework/strategy
Hello,
We are in the process of creating an internal healthy aging framework. We are looking to see if there are any existing frameworks or strategies others could share or could refer us to.
Thank you,
Stephanie Bale

Hi Stephanie and Emma,
I, too, am focusing on healthy aging work as a Health Promoter. If anything transpired in terms of healthy aging framework, would it be okay if I was looped in? Thank you.

Hello everyone!
Though we don't have a healthy aging framework document per se (and I think it would be an interesting and important project!) we do have several resources related to maintaining mental wellness in older adulthood. These include:
This video, which introduces the Understanding Mental Health and Well-Being workshop series: https://vimeo.com/386965485
Knowledge products we've developed regarding various mental health concerns for older adults, related to COVID-19 (available on EEnet.ca): https://www.eenet.ca/olderadults#Resources
Our Understanding Mental Health and Well-Being in Later Life workshop series, covers a range of topics related to mental health concerns in older adulthood, including positive mental health, understanding care options, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, psychosis, delirium, problem gambling, dementia, cannabis and alcohol, and opioids/other medications. We'll share information about upcoming virtual workshops with this subgroup. Also, if you're interested in completing training to facilitate one of these workshops in your community, send us an email at olderadults@camh.ca
