Hope and Me - Mood Disorders Association of Ontario is collaborating with our partner organization CREST.BD on a study to learn more about the experiences of participating or facilitating peer support groups for those with bipolar disorder.

Participation in this study involves completing an online questionnaire (~20mins) and attending a focus group interview online on Zoom (~90mins). At this focus group interview, you will be asked to share your experiences from facilitating or attending peer support groups and programs, with the aim of enhancing understanding of experiences of peer support, including impacts (positive and negative) and facilitators/barriers to effective peer support.

The total time for commitment to complete the study (questionnaire + focus group interview) is estimated to be approximately 1 hour and 50 mins.  The information you provide will be respected and kept confidential. You will not be personally identified in any reports of the completed study.

Focus group interview participants will be remunerated with a $45 (CAD) gift card to show our appreciation for your time.  For more information about this study, please refer to the study poster that includes this link that provides additional details: https://crestbd.ca/bipolar-groups

You may also contact the study team at crest.bd@ubc.ca to sign up.

Thank you for your consideration with this very important project and wishing you all the very best.
