To celebrate the progress made in mental health and suicide prevention, a few days ago, I inquired statistics on 'relation of suicide and workplace harassment' to do some writing.

The reply I received is quoted here: 'One cannot assume direct causality with bullying and suicide. Suicide is a multi-causal phenomenon and bullying cannot be isolated as a cause. As such, statistics for suicides due to work place bullying do not exist.'

I hope if some one from EENet with different information will comment on this net. Given contrarary victim experience, media report (2019/03/11 THE Fifth Estate 'Officer Down: Suicide and harassment...'), international researches (Norway and Australia ), and court cases, Canadian researchers should, to say the least, give harassment relating to suicide an 'evidence based' examination.
