Safety guidelines or protocols when meeting with "Early Psychosis Intervention/EPI" clients
We have had team discussions following risky situations that clinicians have faced with clients who had a history of aggression/violent behavior, and were having a regular meeting at the office or in a home setting. (There might also not be a history of aggression/violence present or known).
We know that there are risks involved in working with our "Early Psychosis Intervention" population, who can be unwell and at times unpredictable. We would like to know if any programs have guidelines or protocols/policies in place regarding clinician's safety.
Thank you,
The Northeast team
