Seeking support group for mothers of adult children
Does anyone know of a support group for mothers who are giving emotional support to adult children who have substance problems or who otherwise have not yet quite grown up? Not a 12-step group--more interaction and discussion of practical issues. Toronto or online.

Parents for Children's Mental Health Ontario (PCMH) has monthly support groups that are offered virtually in various cities across the province. Your children do not have to be living with you or young.
You can email the Chapter Leader directly to ask for a monthly schedule and they will provide a link for you to their group. https://www.family.cmho.org/fi...eer-support-chapter/
Hello Beth,
I work for the Ontario Caregiver Organization, where we offer support groups and 1:1 peer support to any caregiver in Ontario. While we don't have groups specific to what you've outlined, we may be able to make a meaningful match to a mentor with relevant caregiver experience for 1:1 support.
