The 5-Minute CBT Course is a 5 Week (20 hour) accredited online series for Clinicians.  Participants will learn to apply the THRIVE © Approach to Wellbeing and jumpstart their own self -care and wellbeing, as well as their patients. The understanding of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) will deepen - based tools to apply to yourself and your practice. 

Course Objectives:

- Apply 3 key steps for effective health behaviour change with a range of patients using SMART goals and 5-min CBT tools developed by the Fountain of Health (i.e. Health and Resilience Questionnaire, Goal Documentation Sheet, Take Home Goal Sheet and Wellness App).

- Participants will be familiar with indications for CBT, enhanced CBT and readiness assessments and understand how to apply behaviour change across patient types, health conditions and stages of patient readiness.

- Participants will be encouraged to apply the FoH approach to managing their own stress and well-being, particularly relevant for clinicians in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Course Dates: October 11 (4 - 6pm AST), October 18, 25, November 1, 8 (4 - 5:30 pm AST.), and December 6 (4 - 6pm ATL).

The Booster session, December 6th, will: Review the Thrive three step approach to behaviour change learned in the course. Identify barriers and solutions to application in practice. Know the steps for continuing progress.
