Assessment and Intervention: Use of the Lausanne Trilogue Play Paradigm in clinical contexts

Day one of this workshop is an introduction to the nuts and bolts of the LTP, using video excerpts at a variety of ages and stages. Research on this tool will also be briefly presented. On day two, the basic format and structure of video feedback will be illustrated using case vignettes. Participants will work directly with videotaped LTPs to learn how to use this assessment tool and to develop a video feedback plan.
Learning Objectives:
- The foundational research and theory supporting the use of the LTP and LFT assessment tools in families across the age spectrum.
- Concepts such as the family alliance and co-parenting will also be discussed, as well as their assessment.
- Participants will learn the system of clinical assessment of an LTP including determining appropriate segments to be used for video-feedback.
- Participants will learn about the structure and delivery of video feedback to the point of having foundational knowledge to begin doing this with their own clients, with supervision.
