Beyond CBT for Anxiety, Addictions & Depression
Event date: 03/30/2019
Event type: Single day (a day or less)
CBT is a gold standard, yet as a 'top-down' cognitive treatment is is not an effective front-end best practice for conditions that manifest from 'bottom-up.'
Anxiety is a 'bottom'-up' primal response, as can be addictions and depression. The Anxiety Release Protocol (ARP) provides a practical, powerful strategy to end clients' panic attacks and teach them how to manage anxiety - quickly and effecitvely. Post ARP you will find CBT is dramatically more effective.
New ARP training date is announced for the spring semester at TheWorkshopClinic.com which is located on the campus of the University of Toronto (DT).

I’m taking and will be taking another course in March from dr beck institute in Philadelphia. Will the materials be different than the beck method?
Hi Danny Seto
Totally different. The Beck Institute teaches CBT - we do not. As much as we value it as a modality it is a very top (cognitive) approach to solving mental challenges, and many challenges, anxiety in particular, come from a 'bottom-up' place. They are primal responses, and trying to re-orient those responses cognitively is an uphill battle in a storm.
ARP seeks to calm the storm - address the primal response directly. Once the client/patient has the skills onboard to lower their own cortisol (stress hormone), settling the symptoms - CBT is so much more effective.
APR is a protocol based in a solid foundation that empowers other modalities to work hard, stronger and faster.
Will this be offered via online delivery?
At this time there is no live webinar however a modified version for ‘coaches’ will be available soon.
There is a fully recorded version of the workshop which can be purchased and downloaded off of our website.
As we pride ourselves in practical programs with only the highest level of pedagogy, we strongly recommend that people attend in person for maximum learning.
