For the third session of our Waypoint Talks series, this dynamic panel will showcase the pivotal role of community collaboration in the IPV Service Study. Kayla Zimmermann from the Patient/Client Family Council (PCFC) will share key outcomes from her workshop on compassionate interviewing skills and its impact on the study. Dr. Nazanin Alavi, project lead and co-founder of the Online Psychotherapy Tool (OPTT), will highlight how study findings can shape effective online interventions for victims and perpetrators of IPV. Representatives from the Barrie Native Friendship Centre will underscore the importance of culturally safe care and the significance of research partnerships. Together, the panel will illustrate how innovative approaches and collaborative networks enhance our response to IPV and drive meaningful research outcomes.
