The focus of this two day conference will be on the importance of developing social emotional skills (SEL) as part of healthy growth and development process for our children and teens. Dr. Jean Clinton, Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University, Division of Child Psychiatry, will be a keynote speaker along with Dr. Kim Schonert-Reichl, from the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotion Learning in Chicago. Both world reknowned presenters will be providing their expertise and research on the development SEL skills as a preventative mental health strategy in our schools, communities and homes.
