1. Identify challenges relating to acute pain management for patients on opioid agonist therapy.
2. Review literature relating to acute and perioperative pain management for patients maintained on buprenorphine and methadone.
3. Discuss gaps in the literature and highlight relevance to our practice.

Presenter: Dr. Marc Dagher MD, CCFP Addictions Medicine Fellow, CAMH/U of T. Dr. Dagher recently graduated family medicine from the University of Toronto and is currently completing an enhanced skills program in addiction medicine based at CAMH. He is interested in integrating primary care and addiction medicine.
