CBT for Adult ADHD

Tue, Nov 10, 2020 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

Presented by: Dr. Sanjay Rao

Adult ADHD (AADHD) is a common condition which often goes untreated. Treatment of ADHD in adults is significantly different from childhood as a) roles and responsibilities change and b) the profile of ADHD symptoms changes. Cognitive behavioural therapy is an extremely effective intervention which provides clients with adult ADHD with powerful tools to manage their life better. This workshop will cover the key pillars for the psychological treatment of Adult ADHD. It will also review evidence for the various treatment options for AADHD. The practitioners will take away a collection of skills to enhance outcomes of their clients.

This Webinar is FREE for Registered Social Workers (RSW), Registered Social Service Workers (RSSW) and Students of Social Work and Social Service Work Programs.

Please note: If you are not an RSW, RSSW or student of these programs, you may still attend but will be charged a nominal fee of $35.

ADHD education is so needed.  For frontline workers but also, doctors and specialists.  So many people have undiagnosed and/or untreated ADHD.  ADHD is rarely the topic of discussions or workshops.  Too many people picture the little boy who can't sit still.  ADHD is much more and it should be recognized as more.  ADHD effects Every Aspect of a person's life. (unless they have a mild case)

I look forward to this workshop.
