This online certificate provides the Ontario youth sector with the foundational knowledge to cultivate practices, policies, and alliances that challenge, disrupt, and combat systematic anti-Black racism. The certificate is available in English and French!
The certificate includes 17 lectures, 2 artistic performances, videos and a playlist! This course will equip you to:
- Understand the historical roots and context of present-day manifestations of anti-Black racism
- Learn critical practices for centering the wellbeing of Black youth and communities
- Engage with research on the impact of anti-Black racism on Black youth and their families
- Commit to ongoing personal, professional and organizational accountability
