Evaluation not only provides youth programs with the tools to understand, measure and track the intended outcomes and impact of their programs, it also helps to understand the diverse needs of the communities they serve and how they can better prepare themselves to meet those needs in the future.

This workshop will outline the process for conducting community-based needs assessments and facilitate a discussion on how the evaluation process can greatly improve programs through the cooperative efforts of youth, peer support workers and program staff. This interactive workshop will present information on:

  • The process of conducting needs assessments and focus groups
  • How evaluation can greatly enhance our programs and work
  • How to use evaluation tools to improve program processes and outcomes

To help you get the most out of this workshop, we recommend that you come to the session with a program in mind. We want to make sure that you have the opportunity to apply the information shared in this workshop to a program that matters to you!

Bring your questions, bring your colleagues, and join us for an informative and interactive engagement.

The workshop is FREE, but space is limited!
