The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model: New Directions in Trauma and Addiction Treatment

This webinar introduces key concepts from the book Treating Trauma and Addiction with the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (Routledge, 2021). This session challenges the traditional top-down approaches to trauma and addiction, advocating for a transformative, body-centered appraoch. The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM) integrates Gendlin’s Felt Sense with Porges' Polyvagal Theory, offering practitioners a new way to engage with the embodied processes of interoception (felt sense) and neuroception (polyvagal response). During this webinar, you'll gain insights into how the FSPM can revolutionize your practice by providing a holistic, bottom-up/top-down framework for treating trauma and addiction. The session will include a case example to demonstrate the model's application in real-world scenarios. Additionally, you’ll be introduced to The Embodied Assessment and Treatment Tool (EATT)™, equipping you with the skills to conduct somatic assessments and enhance your therapeutic interventions.

This webinar is free for all to attend!
