Foundations to QI (IDEAS) Training (Sudbury, ON)
by Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP)
Learning objectives: The program aims to produce effective, QI project team members and promotes a common QI language. Terminology, tools (e.g. Fishbone Diagram, Measurement Plan, PDSA worksheets) and methods taught are based on the Model for Improvement. Participants are encouraged to work on a quality issue relevant to their home agency throughout group exercises to promote applicability of learnings following the session.
Target audience: Clinical, support and administrative staff/volunteers working in Ontario’s community mental health and addiction sector who are or would like to participate in QI projects and consider themselves novice or in need of a refresh.
Pre-work eLearning: All participants are required to complete four, online eLearning modules prior to attending the in-person training session. The modules take approximately 3 hours to complete. Information of how to access these modules will be sent to you following registration.
If you do not receive the information to log into IDEAS Campus 2 weeks before your session, please email Ashley at akoster@ontario.cmha.ca to request access.
