Frayme Webinar: Integrated Youth Services: Voices from the field [Part 1]
Event date: -
Event type: Single day (a day or less)
In this second part of an ongoing webinar series on integrated youth services (IYS), we’ll hear from leaders of three distinct IYS initiatives located across the globe: ACCESS Open Minds (pan-Canadian), YouthCan IMPACT (Toronto, Canada) and Choices for Youth (St. John’s, Canada). IYS initiatives generally provide a “one-stop-shop” for mental health, physical health, substance use and addictions, and a variety of other social services (e.g., education, vocational supports, and housing).
This webinar will feature interactive discussion that will bring findings from the first webinar to life. Panelists will provide firsthand accounts of their experiences and lessons learned around what it takes to set up an IYS initiative. Discussion themes will include establishment processes, governance structures, partnerships, funding, and sustainability. This will be a unique opportunity to learn from and interact with individuals who have direct experience implementing IYS.
This webinar will allow participants to:
• Explore the lessons learned of how various integrated youth services established their initiatives
• Understand how different contextual settings may influence IYS initiatives
• Engage with panelists to answer questions regarding administrative functions and components of IYS initiatives
