About this session:
Join staff from the Tour de Bleu Therapeutic Neighbourhood (TN), an inpatient evidence-based programming service available to all inpatients at CAMH, to learn about what this incredible service has to offer! The TN covers a variety of topics and areas of skill development to help aid in client recovery including fitness, recreation, vocational, health and wellness, therapy and peer support lead groups.
Led by a diverse interdisciplinary team, the TN is a unique and special place for clients and clinicians to connect throughout the hospital. Using a recovery-oriented and client-centered approach to care, the TN is a therapeutic space that also supports opportunities to grow and thrive. Features of the space include a gym, computer room, courtyard, music room, and teaching kitchen among other exciting rooms! In addition to clinician led programming, the TN hosts external partnerships to help support programming initiatives such as the George Brown College Culinary School.
The TN’s goal is to instill a sense of hope, autonomy, and self-determination as clients connect with other units across the hospital, fostering a strong sense of community that enables clients to feel excited about their recovery!
