Sharing Our Stories: Using the Arts to Explore Lived Experiences of Autism and Mental Health
Members of the Outside In Theatre Company, directed by Prof. Adeen Ashton Fogle, demonstrate the use of the arts as problem-solving tools and as vehicles for rich dialogue. The co-researchers/presenters share their lived experiences in work, out of work and in adult education as neurodivergent adults and mental health consumers. Performance ethnography provides an opportunity to articulate these experiences powerfully, creatively and heart-fully, and to share our learning through performance.
