Sleep and Mental Health with Dr. Michael Mak
Join the CAMH's own sleep expert, Dr. Mak, for an educational session focused on the association between sleep and mental health. The session will offer tips to improve your sleep and overall health. A Q&A period with the audience will follow the presentation.
This session is open to everyone- patients, family, staff/clinicians, and the general public.
Our presenter:
Dr. Michael Mak (he/him) is a sleep medicine specialist and staff psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He also provides cultural mental health care for the Hong Fook Mental Health Association. He received his MD from Queen’s University in Kingston, and subsequently completed his Psychiatry residency and fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Western University in London..Dr. Mak’s academic interests include sleep disorders and psychiatric patients. He is an award-winning educator and serves on the education committees of both the Canadian Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

This is a hybrid event, participants can join online (weblink accessed through Eventbrite) or in-person in the Patient and Family Learning Space (1025 Queen St. W; main floor).
