Free Event: Recovery & Resilience Panel Discussion
Event date: -
Event type: Single day (a day or less)
You’re invited for EHN Canada’s next educational webinar: Recovery & Resilience Panel Discussion with EHN Canada Alumni.
In celebration of September being Recovery Month, we are honoured to feature a panel featuring members of the alumni community from the EHN Canada network. They will be speaking to the treatment process, life after treatment, and the roller coaster that is living in recovery. These panelists will provide insight to the real-life struggles of starting fresh and navigating a life in recovery. Their discussion will highlight how community is essential for maintaining and enjoying sobriety, avoiding feelings of isolation, rediscovering self, and connecting with others who understand what you’re experiencing. The end of a treatment program is just the beginning of a lifelong recovery journey. Join us Thursday, September 21 between 12-1pm EST for this lively and insightful panel discussion outlining the good, the bad and the ugly about mental health and addictions treatment.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Understand that living in recovery is in fact a roller coaster
- Establish the importance of creating a community while in treatment that goes far beyond the facility
- Discuss mental health and addiction programming and the direct impact it may have on its patients
- Explore the opportunities that are available to those wanting to give back to their Recovery Community
Date: September 21, 2023 – 12pm ET, 9am PT
Duration: 1-hour panel discussion
Cost: COMPLIMENTARY
