Stress Lessons Grades 7 - 12 Program
Stress Lessons is a resource designed for educators and youth-serving professionals who want to help youth develop resilience. Full of psychologically-sound strategies and tools, this resource will help preteens and teens develop resilience and positive coping skills. With components for teachers, counsellors, administrators, parents and caregivers, it provides a comprehensive approach that will help young people:

  • recognize the signs and symptoms of stress, 
  • understand what stress “feels” like, 
  • identify stressors and their impact, 
  • see the upside of stress, 
  • develop/implement coping and problem-solving strategies, and 
  • foster an increased sense of well-being.


Who is it designed for?
Tailored for educators and youth-serving professionals, this program guides you in creating teachable moments. Learn how to seamlessly introduce stress management strategies and foster resilience in the lives of preteens and teens. 

What’s included?
This training includes:

  • 1.5-hour live session,
  • 2 Stress Lessons PDF guides (Grades 7-9 and Grades 9-12),
  • Live Q&A with a Stress Management expert, and
  • Practical implementation tools for seamless delivery.
