Gender Diversity, Part 2: Transgender and Gender Diverse Youth: Connecting with Youth and Supporting the Family

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the importance of getting to know the youth and how to best support them.
  2. Recognize the impact of supporting parents/caregivers of gender non conforming youth.
  3. Understand how an individualized plan is developed.

Presenter Biography

Sebastien Pangallo, MSW, RSW: Clinical social worker at CHEO since 2012. He has a special interest in working with gender-diverse youth and has been doing so since 2013.
