Learning Objectives:
1. Examine how cognitive impairments may alter the approach to the treatment of substance use
2. Explore adaptations of mainstream treatment using a case-based approach
3. Develop a cessation treatment using a case-based approach
This 1-credit-per-hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 1 Mainpro+ credit. The TEACH Educational Rounds have also been accredited with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College), MOC Program Section 1: Accredited Group Learning Credits.

The Training Enhancement in Applied Cessation Counselling and Health (TEACH) Project aims to ensure that practitioners who provide services to people who use tobacco have the specialized knowledge and skills to deliver effective, evidence-based cessation interventions.
