Complex trauma and addiction are often treated as individual problems, but they are essentially problems of relationships, attachment and communication. This two-part webinar will connect the dots of trauma, addiction and relationship issues within a four-dimensional integrative framework. You will be introduced to the concepts and building blocks of Congruence Couple Therapy, an integrative evidence-based model that has produced significant outcomes in emotion regulation, couple satisfaction, reduced stress, addiction and depression symptoms. This model was recognized by the Health Quality Council of Alberta as a Distinguished Initiative for enhancing patient experience in Addiction and Mental Health services.
Learning Outcomes:
* Connect the dots of couple relationship, trauma and addiction
* Enhance communication with small building blocks
* Conceptualize working with trauma and addiction using systems thinking
* Review research evidence
* Learn how flow and structure are complementary
Following the Introductory Webinar, those interested in learning the model experientially can apply to join our case-based consultation-training series at a discounted rate.
