Impacts, Experiences and Coping with Everyday Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Supporting Family Mental Health and Well-being

Presented by the Family & Child Health Initiative
Mon, Mar 22, 2021 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM EDT

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the mental health and well-being of families around the world. This webinar will use a panel discussion to share knowledge, experience and practical strategies for social workers who are supporting intergenerational family homes, including children, youth, adults and seniors. Panelists include community partners that are currently supporting the mental health and well-being of a diverse group of families across the Peel Region through their individual organizations and as a collective. The webinar will pay particular attention to how some families have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 in Peel based on race, gender, class, housing, employment, poverty, and age.

This Webinar is FREE for Ontario Registered Social Workers (RSW), Registered Social Service Workers (RSSW) and Students of Social Work and Social Service Work Programs. Please note: If you are not an RSW, RSSW or student of these programs, you may still attend but will be charged a nominal fee of $15.
