This full-day workshop is part of the CPRI 20109-2020 Education Catalogue. This workshop aims to provide a holistic and integrated understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  Through a combination of theory-based and practical discussion, aspects of ASD will be presented from multiple clinical perspectives.  Throughout the day, illustrative case examples and demonstrations will be used to foster understanding and to help link theory to everyday situations.  The day will conclude with a panel discussion that considers the community-based approaches and resources that are best suited to the needs of children and adolescents with ASD.
 
 
At the conclusion of this session, learners will be able to:
  1. Recall diagnostic criteria and diagnostic process for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  2. Explain a holistic and integrated understanding of intervention for ASD
  3. Identify community based approaches and list resources.
