The first free online webinar part of the Wellness Webinar Series titled: Mental Health and Resilience During COVID-19, will be provided by the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, Continuing Professional Development office on Thursday April 30, 2020 from 6:00pm -7:00pm (EST)
This webinar discusses the mental health distress experienced by healthcare workers during the different phases of COVID-19. With many healthcare workers currently facing heightened pressures as a result of COVID-19, it is important that psychological distress is addressed appropriately.
Discussions will be based on mental health distress during the different phases of COVID-19 in relation with:
- Types of mental health distress among workers
- Potential resources and approaches to manage psychological distress
- The role of ECHO (Extension of Community Health Outcomes) in supporting healthcare providers coping with COVID-19
