The META:PHI Virtual Conference 2025 is just one month away! 

Taking place on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5, this year’s conference theme is Substance Use Health is Community Health. Conference sessions have been selected to appeal to all healthcare service providers who work with people who use substances. 

In addition to 1-hour sessions, the agenda includes:

  • Keynote speakers include epidemiologist Daniel Werb, speaking on the current drug policy landscape in Ontario, and Indigenous health changemaker Dr. Esther Tailfeathers, speaking on community strategies to address the drug poisoning crisis
  • Panel discussion on connecting peer support and community
  • Workshops on community-driven integrated care with PWUD; and an introduction to dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
  • 15-minute ‘Snapshots’

To encourage an interactive experience, there will be local hubs for viewing the conference with others.  The deadline to sign up for a hub is March 12.
