We know that youth mental health matters. From ages 10-24, mental health conditions make up nearly half the overall burden of disease, and 75% of mental health conditions emerge by age 24. So how can youth be meaningfully involved in the mental health community? And what does true participation actually look like?
The next #MHForAll webinar, The Future of Youth Mental Health: Driving Forward Meaningful Participation, will explore the importance of centring youth voices in the global mental health community. |
I'm interested to see what action will be taken after this webinar. Youth will be the next leaders of the future, so all age groups should be a part of this discussion. Collaboration is needed to solve the interconnected aspects of mental health struggles and conditions within our society.
