We know that youth mental health matters. From ages 10-24, mental health conditions make up nearly half the overall burden of disease, and 75% of mental health conditions emerge by age 24.

So how can youth be meaningfully involved in the mental health community? And what does true participation actually look like?

The next #MHForAll webinar, The Future of Youth Mental Health: Driving Forward Meaningful Participation, will explore the importance of centring youth voices in the global mental health community.

I'm interested to see what action will be taken after this webinar. Youth will be the next leaders of the future, so all age groups should be a part of this discussion. Collaboration is needed to solve the interconnected aspects of mental health struggles and conditions within our society.
