About this Event
The focus of this program is to introduce participants to the practice of mindfulness and meditation. These practices help individuals better cope with anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain, as well as improve interpersonal relationships. During the classes, participants are guided through a variety of meditations practices and encouraged to talk about their experiences. Bringing mindfulness into our daily lives can help us turn negative emotions such as frustration, impatience, and anger around and allows us to live a happier, more peaceful, energized, and enthusiastic life.
This program has been created and is facilitated by Dr Silvina Galperin, Clinical Psychologist and Jessica Israelstam, RP (Qualifying)
Participants of the Mindful Living Program will learn to:
* Communicate better with loved ones
* Savour the present moment
* Be kinder to themselves and others
* Change unwanted habits
* Improve focus and concentration
* Manage and release stress with mindfulness
The total cost for the 6-week Mindfulness Living Program is $500 (Covered by most insurance plans).
