The 6-week program involves the practice of meditation and mindful activities, experiential exercises, group discussions, and home practices. Additionally, each session will explore one theme so that participants can focus on one topic at a time. Participants will acquire the skills to bring mindfulness into their daily life. Learn about the Benefits Of Meditation, and learn how Mindfulness Meditation Is A Workout For The Brain.

The focus of this program is on the practice of meditation and educating participants on its benefits. These benefits include to better manage emotions, calm the mind and live in the present moment. It has been demonstrated that meditation helps to better cope with anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain as well as with interpersonal relationships.

During the classes, participants will be guided through a variety of meditations and encouraged to talk about their experience.

When: Wednesdays (6:30 pm to 8 pm)
