Hope and Me - Mood Disorders Association of Ontario is hosting another cohort of Mindfulness Recovery Program for Health Care Workers. MAST is a two-day virtual introductory workshop for front-line health care workers who are interested in building mindfulness strategies for coping with their own stress and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. This group provides psycho-education and tools to practice mindfulness.

 *This is an introductory workshop

*This is not a "train the trainer" workshop

Topics discussed in the program include:

  • The Window of Tolerance
  • Mindfulness and the Brain
  • Managing Emotions
  • Self-care

Each workshop includes two sessions that occur one week apart. The next workshop session dates available are:

Monday September 14, 2020 and Monday September 21, 2020 at 1PM to 3PM.

You must be a health care worker who provides direct-care services to people in settings such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, or community health centres in order to be eligible for this program.
