Description
This course prepares health care professionals to apply the evidenced based method of motivational interviewing (MI) for promoting growth and change in their practice. The course discusses the uses of MI, how it works and why health care professionals would want to use it. The course is based on the principles detailed in Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change and Grow, 4th edition (2023), by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick.

- This is an interactive course with real-time learning: You will engage online with course faculty and other participants through live web-based sessions
- Immersive learning experiences: The course has 7 modules with 16 (1-hour) sessions (including: Discussions, case-based learning, simulation-based learning with real-time coaching and feedback)
