This course prepares health care professionals to apply the evidenced based method of  motivational interviewing (MI) for promoting growth and change in their practice. The course discusses the uses of MI, how it works and why health care professionals would want to use it. The course is based on the principles detailed in Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change and Grow, 4th edition (2023), by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick.
