This is a learning opportunity for social workers to reflect on their role in building preparedness towards a society that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. The presentation will promote awareness of and sensitivity to issues of diversity - in particular, the experience of individuals in society who may be subject to marginalization and discrimination. The presenation will also provide historical influences and foundational overview of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
