This group is a peer support group for young adult men (mid-twenties to early forties) who find themselves without a clear purpose or career, and financially and / or emotionally dependent on their parents (e.g. still living at home). Prospective members may overuse the Internet, cannabis, or alcohol and feel at least somewhat disconnected from "real life".

Current participants are intelligent, sensitive, introspective, in their late twenties, and have found the group very helpful. The group would be ideal as a supplement to longer term individual therapy and members are ideally ready to commit to the group longer term after ensuring suitability through an individual intro conversation and a group trial month.

The group currently runs online via Zoom every other Wednesday, 12-1pm.
Cost is $50 per person per meeting, unless the person is financially vulnerable, in which case a pay-what-you-can agreement can be put in place.
If interested, please email annina@substanceusecounselling.com to set up an intro conversation to assess for fit.
