On behalf of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) Substance Advisory Committee, we are inviting you to attend our 2 day symposium!

The Ontario Drug Policy Symposium will allow Ontario police personnel and health care practitioners to take a deep dive into critical issues regarding opioids, mental health and addiction, and drug overdose that have a serious effect on our communities.

The program features areas of discussion on organized crime and enforcement in an opioid crisis, criminal justice response to drug offences, decriminalization and policing healthy outcomes for substance users, responding to change, treating the root causes, reducing the harms of substance use, treatment and a continuum of care, prevention, and awareness from many of our dedicated colleagues and professionals.

Fees

$250 + HST for two (2) days of training.

The fee includes the following:

  • Breakfast – May 31 & June 1
  • AM/PM Breaks – May 31 & June 1
  • Lunch – May 31 & June 1
