Webinar Description
This webinar is based on the Ontario Health's Ontario Common Assessment of Need (OCAN) Community of Interest (CoI) Working Group quality improvement project involving focus groups with service users and providers on improving completion of the service users' OCAN self assessment. Jennifer Berger from Ontario Health will review the findings of the focus groups and Courtney Evers from Madison Community Services will highlight best practices for completing the OCAN. This will be followed by a round table discussion on completing OCANs in practice.

Webinar Objectives
The Ontario Health OCAN CoI's objectives are to:
- Increase awareness of the OCAN and its value to Ontario's mental health and addictions system
- Increase interest in using OCAN to inform clinical care, planning, and performance measurements
- Increase the quality of client information collected in the OCAN
Objectives are achieved through sharing information to the CoI members. Members receive communication and updates about events, news, and research related to OCAN. If you would like to be a member of the CoI, there is a question in the registration to this webinar where you can indicate your interest.
